Our staff understands the importance of being stellar students in addition to gaining strong understandings of the importance of service and compassion to others. Today as high school students, they are dedicated workers and excellent role models. Many of our staff have won prestigious awards in science and mathematics across the United States and the state of North Carolina.
Isaac is a junior at Green Hope High School who loves science and serving his community. He has won over 20 medals in Science Olympiad and works as a research collaborator at Duke University and UNC Chapel Hill. In his free time, he loves to cook and run.
Joey is a junior at Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he runs cross country and track. He received high academic honors during his freshman and sophomore years and also reached the national competition for National History Day in middle school. He loves working with students in the community and plays soccer and reads in his free time.
Arnav is a junior at Raleigh Charter High School and student at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics’s online program. He co-founded the Computer Science Club at Raleigh Charter and works to hold RCHS Key Club and Service Beakers events. Along with programming and designing the Service Beakers website, he loves watching football in his free time.
Catherine is among the top of her class at Raleigh Charter High School. Aspiring a career in medicine, Catherine is working to spearhead the Service Beakers initiative at RCHS, along with the Neuroscience club. Now a junior, in her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her two sisters.
Simone is a junior at Green Hope High School. She has participated in various STEM clubs and competitions, including Science Olympiad and STEM Fair. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the violin and reading.
